Senior Vice President, Retail Banking
"FNBR's individual customer focus and service philosophy are right in line with mine."
Todd Young migrated from Tennessee to First National Bank of the Rockies in Meeker in January 2004 as a Vice President and Commercial Lender. His aptitude and desire to work hard on behalf of customers lead to his promotion in November 2004 as Manager of FNBR's Craig office. After taking a break from banking in 2007, he returned in 2009 to manage FNBR's Meeker office. In 2010 he became Senior Vice President, overseeing the retail banking operations for FNBR.
Todd began his career in banking as a bank manager, commercial lender and marketing director for First Community Bank of East Tennessee. But it was a passion for fishing and mountaineering that drew him away from his native Smoky Mountains. "Colorado has been my home away from home for the past twenty years," said Todd. "Finally, the beauty and friendliness of western Colorado drew me here permanently. Being able to work at FNBR is the icing on the cake."
Todd attended the University of Colorado's Graduate School of Banking and was President of the Class of 2005. Todd enjoys fishing, sailing and performing stand-up comedy. He is also an amateur boxing judge.
