Benefits Offered to FNBR Employees

We take pride in the benefits that we offer to our employees. Below is a listing of the major benefits offered by First National Bank of the Rockies upon employment.

 

Health Insurance/Prescription/Dental Care/Vision Care

Available to regular Full Time Employees working 36+ hours per week. The premium is paid 100% by FNBR for Full Time Employee coverage. Also available to regular Part Time Employees working 20+ hours per week. The premium is paid at 50% for employee coverage. Coverage is available the first day of the month following date of hire.
 

Life/Supplemental Insurances

Employee Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Long Term Disability are paid 100% by FNBR for all Full time employees. Additional supplemental coverage’s available to Full Time Employees at employee expense: Additional Life AD & D, Spouse Life AD & D, Dependent Child Life Benefit and Short Term Disability.
 

Supplemental Coverage’s

Available to employees working at leaset 20+ hours per week at employee expense: Cancer, Accident/Disability, Hospital Confinement, Special Health Event and Hospital Intensive Care.
 

Health Care Flexible Spending Account

Available to employees working at least 20+ hours per week. Allows employees to pay for certain IRS-approved medical care expenses not covered by their insurance plan with pre-tax dollars. This in turn lowers your taxable income.
 

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

Available to employees working at least 20+ hours per week. Allows employees to use pre-tax dollars towards qualified dependent care such as caring for children under the age of 13 or caring for elders. This in turn lowers your taxable income.
 

401K Plan

Available to all employees. You must be at least 21 years of age to enroll. With this plan, you may deduct a portion of your pay on a before-tax basis, receiving matching contributions from First National Bank of the Rockies on part of your savings. Contributions may begin the first day of the month following Date of Hire or anytime thereafter.
 

Employee Assistance

The Employee Assistance Program is offered to Full Time employees and immediate family members of First National Bank of the Rockies. It is a completely confidential 24 hour support, guidance and resource counseling program.
 

Hearing Care

Available to all employees and their immediate family members. EPIC is a discounted hearing service that offers discounts on hearing tests, hearing aids, batteries, and cleaning solutions.
 

Paid Time Off

Available to Regular Full Time Employees working 36+ hours per week.
 

Vacation Leave

You can receive up to 2 weeks (10 days) of Vacation Leave per year. *Actual accruals vary depending on actual employee start date. Employees with 5+ years of service with FNBR will receive 3 weeks (15 days) of Vacation Leave per year.
 

Personal Leave

You can receive up to 1 week (5 days) of Personal Leave per year. *Actual accruals vary depending on actual employee start date.
 

Sick Leave

You can receive up to 1 week (5 days) of Sick Leave per year. *Actual accruals vary depending on actual employee start date.
 

Educational Assistance

The educational assistance program encourages personal development through formal education so that employees can maintain and improve job-related skills or enhance their ability to compete for reasonably attainable jobs within FNBR.
 

Free FNBR Deposit account

With no associated fees* and set up for direct deposit. Also includes a free Debit Card and free personal checks, for checking accounts.
*Overdraft fees still apply.
